GAU celebrating its 30th year in establishment during the 2014-2015 academic years, is also keeping on their achievements at sports at full-speed along with their academic achievements.

The GAU Sports Coordinator Muzaffer Doğgün making a statement on the topic, signifying that GAU has gained numerous achievements at table tennis up until today, stated that GAU has represented the TRNC in many Badminton and Athletics competitions. Doğgün notified that the GAU table tennis team will also participate at the 6 foot table tennis competitions that is going to take place in Ankara and he stated that the team is continuing their way in the university league undefetead.He also emphasised that the table tennis team is one of the most succesfull branch in the TRNC league,TRNC interuniversities Championship,Turkey Super League and Turkey Universities League.
