Dean's Message
The field of communication is expanding day by day and undergoing constant technological transformation. To keep pace with this rapid growth—both nationally and internationally—the education sector must also adapt accordingly.
The Faculty of Communication at Girne American University (GAU) embodies these qualities, offering an educational approach tailored to the requirements of the modern era. Our faculty provides education through five undergraduate programs, two master’s programs, and one doctoral program.
With a young and dynamic faculty, our Faculty of Communication aims to develop students into highly competent individuals across all sectors of the communication landscape. We provide our students with opportunities for practical training and employment within institutions and organizations in both the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Türkiye, covering fields such as Public Relations and Publicity; Radio, Television, and Cinema; Press and Publishing; and New Media and Communication.
Through the theoretical knowledge imparted by our experienced academic staff, combined with hands-on experience gained at institutions with which our university collaborates, our students have the opportunity to become true experts and highly skilled professionals in their respective fields.
As the GAU family, we have always taken great pride in those we have educated, and we will continue to do so.
