Dear Students, Welcome to the Faculty of Law at Girne American University, one of the most established universities in Northern Cyprus. Since its foundation, our Faculty has proudly educated thousands of lawyers and has earned recognition as one of the country’s leading law schools. Our story began in 1998 with the International Law Program, the first of its kind in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, offering legal education in English. In 2010, we expanded with our accredited Turkish Law Program, and together these programs have built an institution known both locally and internationally for its legal education and research.What makes our Faculty unique among law schools in Turkey and Northern Cyprus is not only what we teach but how we teach.
