Joint degree program between GAU and Kastamonu University
GAU, on the eve of its 30th academic year in higher education, adds another academic protocol agreement to nearly 200 agreements signed with universities in Turkey and the world.

The number of universities with which GAU shares academic co-operation and scientific information outside of its intercontinental campuses and education centres in England, Hong Kong, ABD and Turkey has approached almost 200 with the agreement signed with Kastamonu University.

The agreement signed between GAU and Kastamonu University includes joint scientific studies, academic exchange program of students and scientists, being able to continue seasonal training on other college campuses and joint degree programs.

The protocol signing ceremony held in the GAU Camelot Tourism Hosting Application Centre was attended by Rector - Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner on the behalf of GAU and Kastamonu University Rector - Prof. Dr. Seyit Aydın.

Girne American University Rector - Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner stated in his speech at the signing ceremony that academic co-operation of GAU global overseas campuses with nearly 200 universities still continue and underlined that international academic cooperation agreements not only contribute to the development of students but also plays a big role in the promotion of our country. Öner emphasized that language, culture and religious unity between the motherland Turkey and TRNC will increase the academic importance and value of cooperation signed with Turkish universities and stated that the agreement would bring the important scientific productions along with the targeted aims and also they will conduct joint degree programs.

Kastamonu University Rector - Prof. Dr. Seyit Aydın expressed his satisfaction with the academic agreement and emphasized that he believes this work will go further and the student and academician mobility of two brother universities will increase with this agreement.

Scientists and students will be able to continue their seasonal training at other college campuses under the terms of academic exchange programs with the agreement signed between GAU and Kastamonu University. Also joint degree programs will be conducted within the protocol agreement between the two universities.
