Girne American University (GAU), after 25 years of experience, continues to work hard to reach the highest standards of world class education. According to the statement made by GAU, Faculty of Engineering which gives education within the body of Techno-Park in GAU Karmi Campus, develops its laboratories and prepares to open those new laboratories for scientific production and education.

In the statement made by GAU related with the laboratories which was developed to reach the highest standards of world class education, it was said that, in its 26th year, The American University will continue to put its signature under important projects to develop sub-structure and to increase the number of technical equipment.

It was also mentioned in the statement that establishment process of those laboratories had completed and it was emphasized; Laboratories of Physic, Chemistry, Software Technologies, Research and Development, Internet Technologies, Alternative Energy are ready for the give service to Girne American University students and academicians. It was also said that Computer Integrated Manufacturing laboratories will be opened within the next semester and they will also continue to develop the other laboratories in Techno-Park.
Sub-structure and Technological Specifications of 8 laboratories had been developed

In the statement it was mentioned that technological specifications and sub structure of the Laboratories of Computer, Electronic, Ergonomics and Job Study, PLC and Microprocessors, Electric Machines, Mechatronics, Software Developing and Communication and Microwave, were developed and continues to give service to the American University students and continues to be the centre of sciences.

It was mentioned that besides the 1 laboratory that is planned to be opened within the body of Techno Park, 13 laboratories which are used by the Faculty of Engineering will be used not only for scientific purposes but also related professional organizations and private sector will use those laboratories for research and development studies. It was also underlined those laboratories which has a developed technical specifications and sub structure is the first one among the laboratories of North Cyprus and will put its signature under significant projects and scientific studies.
