There Has Been Great Interest in Gine American University (GAU)`s Bakesale of Turkish Teaching Field within their `Community Service Practices` subject to support Children Protection Institution.

Girne American University Department of Turkish Teaching Faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Çakır has stated that they carried out multiple projects within subject of "Community Service Practices"

Çakır continued his statement with;

"3rd year students of Department of Turkish Teaching within the Community Service Practices` subjects, organized a bake sale to contribute to effort to make our tiny hearts enter new year with a smile. Aim of Community Service Practices subject is to increase sense of responsibility to community, playing an active role in solving of communal problems, increase awareness of social realities, cooperation, solidarity being in touch with the community and developing self assessment skills."
