Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Political Science paid an academic visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on 25 November 2025. During the visit, faculty members and students met with TRNC Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu.

During the meeting, Minister Ertuğruloğlu briefed GAU Faculty of Political Science academics and students on the Cyprus issue and the TRNC’s foreign policy. The meeting also addressed recent developments concerning the Cyprus issue and the TRNC’s approach to these developments.

Following the briefing, Mr. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu answered questions from students on the Cyprus issue, foreign policy, and current developments.
