AnadoluJet Campus Activites organized by GAU Life Long Learning and AnadoluJet co-operation have ended and CNN Turkish news speaker Burak Törün, Life Coach İsmail Karasu and Development Academy Coordinator Emre Urfalı have attended seminars as speakers.

Törün emphasized that self-confidence is really important: “Self-confidence and diction should be added to elementary curriculum. Our society can’t express them easily. When we look at literature, art, politics and sports, most successful people can manage to express themselves.”

According to Burak Törün, body language and image have important roles in communication. He also stated that 60% of two-way communication consists of body language and image, 30% of voice and 10% of things spoken.

Development Academy Administrator and University Development Programs Coordinator Emre Urfalı made a presentation with the title “Career Steps during University Education”. In his presentation he stated that first steps of the career should be planned early. And he emphasized that in order to achieve goals, students should prepare a background at the beginning of their education life.

He also added that “Seminars, panels, conferences, education and career day activities being held in school or anywhere shouldn’t be missed. Students shouldn’t be contented with lectures only. In short activities which differentiate your self-development have become a must rather than a need.”

Life Coach İsmail Karasu stated that people should love their jobs: “Most important skill is controlling self, in order to do that individuals should know themselves. People who succeed produce solutions while people who fail produce problems, people who succeed help while people who fail say “it’s not my business”, people who succeed hope while people who fail start to concern. Take successful people as an example. Don’t assume your work as a mission but a privilege, a new viewpoint to yourself and do your job happily.

At the end of AnadoluJet Campus Activities GAU Vice-Rectors Ece İnan and Olgun Çiçek gave appreciation plaque to spokesmen. At the end of the seminar GAU students won various prizes like plane tickets and model plane.
