I’m a sportsman who’s completely focused on my goals!

Representing the Republic of Turkey, Yiğit represented Turkey as their national athlete in the 16th World Athletics Championship competition held in the capital of the UK, LONDON! His personal motto is ‘’I’m a sportsman who’s completely focused on my goals!’’

Yiğitcan Hekimoğlu has also raced alongside the world champion Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt in the 4x100 metre race, and is the first member of the Turkish athletic team in history to have participated in the World Championship competition for the 4x100 metre event.
