BAYINDIR: GAU IS THE ONLY UNIVERSITY IN TRNC TO JOIN IFTE

Corporate General Manager Ferhat Bayindir clarified by a written statement that GAU is the only international aviation academy and university from the TRNC to attend the Aviation Education Fair which was coordinated between 17-18 October in Istanbul World Trade Center

Girne American University’s International Aviation Academy with its catch phrase “Masters of the Sky” and being the only university to attend Istanbul Aviation Education Fair (IFTE) from the TRNC, attracted great attention.

TRNC Minister of Public Works and Transport - Hasan Taçoy, THY Head of Flight Training - Sedat Şekerci, Turkish Airlines General Manager - Temel Kotil, Director General of Civil Aviation - Bilal Ekşi and YÖDAK Member - Prof. Dr. Olgun Çiçek along with GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of the Board - Serhat Akpınar attended the Istanbul Aviation Education Fair held in Istanbul World Trade Center.

The statement made by GAU shows that, 103 participants, 63 from Turkey and 40 from different continents and close to 8,000 local and foreigner visitors attended the Istanbul Aviation and Education Fair.  IFTE being one of the most important fairs of the Aviation Industry emphasized that Girne American University and International Aviation Academy being the only official participant from the TRNC universities hit the mark and became one the fairs authorities.
