GAU Provıdes Full Scholarshıp and Accommodatıon Opportunıtıes for Those Sudents Who Theır Parents are Effected of Mıne Dısaster and are Yet Workıng GAU Senate decided to grant full scholarship and accommodation for those students of those who lost their lives in Soma disaster and mine workers in Soma, for the academic years of 2014-2015 until the end of their higher educations.

GAU Senate have announced the grief they feel as GAU Family and also remarked that for the students who their families lost their lives in Soma disaster and mine workers in Soma, for the academic years of 2014-2015 until the end of their higher educations. Thus with this opportunity GAU aims to partially heal their wounds and give them a hope to live.
With this decision, GAU Senate has announced to further support and help besides the educational reinforcement which they claim to provide.

GAU Students United for SOMA

Furthermore students have symbolically written SOMA with their bodies thus enabling a communal awareness during the commemoration ceremony held in front of GAU Rectorate building for SOMA.
