TRNC Toddlers Fencing Championship was held in the Indoor Sports Hall of the American College which provides education under the Girne American University (GAU) Group of Schools.

The President of the TRNC Fencing Federation - Erhan Vechi expressed in his statement that the competition, which was participated by 21 athletes, was held before a passionate and enthusiastic audience and underlined that the interest in fencing is increasing every day. Vechi stated that these activities which are conducted completely with amateur spirit, significantly contributes to the development of sport.

Medals were presented to the athletes by the Head of the GAU Health, Culture and Sports Department - Türkay Akpinar, Judge of the Supreme Court - Talat Dervis Refiker and President of the TRNC Fencing Federation - Erhan Vechi.

Students which will rank at the TRNC Toddler Fencing Championships will represent the TRNC at the World Fencing Championships which will be held in Alanya in the coming days.
