A Conference with the theme “Jurisdiction, problems and HSYK (Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors)” has been organized by Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Law and will be held with the participation of the Supreme Court Honorary Chief Prosecutor - Sabih Kanadoğlu, Retired Supreme Court of Cyprus President - Taner Erginel and Constitutional Professor – Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Teziç.

The opening speech will be conducted by GAU CEO and Chancellor of the Board of Administrators – Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi and the Jurisdiction and its problems which is the frequently discussed topic on the agenda will be discussed in detail at the conference to be held on Thursday 20th March 2014 at 13:00 at the GAU International Congress Centre. Also at the conference, which will focus on the functioning and duties of HSYK, the ways that should be followed for the resolution of problems on judgment will be discussed.
It is also stated that the conference which will be held on Thursday 20th March at 13:00 at GAU Spectrum International Congress Centre, will be open to public.
