The interest in life coaching has continuously increased since life coaching became a professional field and officially recognized. GAUSEM - Life-Long Education Centre has commenced a new certification program under Girne American University. GAUSEM has co-operated with the leading coaching centre of Turkey - “Rana Kaplan Coaching Centre” to provide success in life and a professional career under “Professional Coaching” education.

The coaching profession which has been accepted as a recognised profession provides individuals with the opportunity to benefit from leading, individual development and accompanying individuals during their period of change. The coaching skills enable individuals to empower their professional life, act as leaders and to enrich themselves. Coaching both enables an individual to reach their goals through organizing them in accordance with their will and desires and support those to achieve their best. General Director of Rana Kaplan Coaching Centre - Rana Kaplan and GAU Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Olgun Üstün have agreed on providing professional coaching training under GAUSEM. Olgun Üstün stated following the meeting that “We, as GAU, are happy to provide the professional coaching training which is a new profession and a new future. We also feel honoured to be the first in the TRNC.”
