The Male Table Tennis Team of the American College, which gives education under the Girne American University (GAU) Group of Schools, has won the title in the TRNC Inter-High Schools Table Tennis Championship. Year 11 - Cemal Kara and Nezircan Müderris and Year 10 - Sertaç Savim and Celal Çorba of the American College won the title with no defeats.

American College to compete in February 2014 in the Turkey Championship

A statement made by the American College authorities expressed that the sporting success achieved by the students, as well as continuing with their courses, is a significant aspect to their personal development. It has also been mentioned that not only table tennis but many other sports activities are being competed in by the American College students. Finally it has been stated that the American College will compete at the Turkey Inter-High Schools Championship in February 2014.
