October 29 Republic Run which is coordinating traditionally every year by Girne American University had been realized at Karmi Campus.

The Run that coordinated by GAU Presidency of Health, Culture and Sports had started through the new Girne road. Almost 200 people had joined to the Run which had been coordinated at GAU Lympic Karmi Campus semi Olympic running track which consisted of 4 km racetrack. Contentious scenes had been realized between the competing participants and they were in 5 different age categories.

In the statement related to the topic that had been realized by GAU Presidency of Health, Culture and Sports, it was stated that elderly, young and many other people had shown an interest from various nationalities to the October 29 Republic Run.

“Happy 90.Year of the Republic”

People that had ranked at GAU October 29 Republic Run had been given awards by Head of health, Culture and Sports Türkay Akpınar and Sport Coordinator Muzaffer. Türkay Akpınar whom made a speech at the award ceremony, had celebrated the 90. Year of Republic.
