Girne American University Head of Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department Dr.Aysın Sınal has joined as a session leader to the workhsop which has been accredited by the England Psychology Association at 2013 International Clinical and Counseling Psychology Congress which took place this year at İstanbul.

2013 International Congress on Clinical & Counseling Psychology that took place at İstanbul amongst the American Psychology Association, Europe Social, Behavioral Sciences Journal, Romania Psychology and Educational Sciences Journal, Point Loma Nazarena University and also the National Taiwan Normal University. The organization of this year especially Addiction Studies, Anxiety Disorders, Applied Research, Attention Disorders, Autism, Behavioral Sciences, Behavior Therapy, Bioethics, Child Abuse, Child Psychology, Chronic Diseases, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Investigation, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Depression, Eating Disorders, EMDR, Ethics, Forensic Medicine, Gay and Lesbian Issues, Genetics, Health Care Access, Marital and Family Therapy, Neurobiology, Psychiatry, Psychopathology, Psychotherapy, Sexual Violence, Substance Addiction, Suicide topics had been observed. It was stated that all notices reviewed in the congress will be gathered and published as a book chapter.

Academicians, clinical psychologists, psychological counselors, psychiatrists and students all around the world joined to the congress which lasted for four days. GAU Head of Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department Dr.Aysın Sınal represented  TRNC and GAU at the International Congress on Clinical & Counseling Psychology at International Arena. Also Sınal was presented an appreciation plaquet by the Congress Organizers for his contributions.
