GAU Faculty of Education and Department of Preschool Teaching are continuing their communal solidarity by bearing in mind their responsibilities.

GAU Preschool Teaching students who had succeeded in community service projects before; while succeeding still, they chose Osman Türkay (Ozankoy) preschool for the project of the schools which needed renewals.

The project of renewing the needed school- Osman Türkay Preschool – which was covered in the preschool community service year three syllabuses, was succeeded as told by Lecturer Aytac Dilek. Aytac Dilek stated that with the support of lecturer Handan Gençgel, Nihan Koran and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toran the skills gained as the result of the lessons taken in the department have contributed to the materials which were developed during lessons have been donated to the school needed- Osman Turkay Preschool (Ozankoy) to provide help to the students who needed. GAU preschool department third year students who have restored the internal and external design of the school building; have  provided an environment where students can have the ideal education and they have aimed for the students to have a qualified learning environment as well as gaining them vocational skills.

Lecturer Aytac Dilek who has given information about the project; the communal responsibility and awareness are necessary for the development of teaching skills as well as a stressing the ideal learning environment and material design’s support for the development of children.  Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toran with these projects GAU has privileges of showing the awareness of communal responsibilities, it’s completion of the societal needs duties and as preschool teaching department they will continue to complete their responsibilities.
