They Returned Home as the Northern Cyprus Education and Culture Envoys

The workshop of global Higher education and New Education Policies has ended after continuing for 3 days at GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus International Congress Center Spectrum Hall and Millennium Complex Senate Congress Center.

Nearly 200 participants from over 70 countries whom participated via Europe, Asia, Africa and America for the Global Higher education workshop which was held for the first time in TRNC at GAU have returned home after the closing ceremony.

GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Dr. Asım Vehbi also the participating opinion leaders Abeer Suleiman Abdel Latif Alabbadi, Husain Mohamed Jafar Hasan Yusuf, Oyundelger Lkhagvasuren, Sergey Romanchenko have made further statements, on the workshop which lasted for 3 days, during the certificate ceremony and Premiere dinner.


Dr. Asım Vehbi: “Will Contribute for the Promotion of the Country and the Local Tourism”Vehbi explained further that the workshop will contribute for the specification of ne policies and implementation on Higher education and also added that there will be positive contribution for the promotion of the country through the participation of nearly 200 and over 70 countries whom have met in TRNC as the opinion leaders of education and that the participants have returned home as the education and culture envoys.

Vehbi thanking all participants for their discussion and results he also explained further that the workshop will contribute for the economy, education, tourism and country’s promotion.


Abeer Suleiman Abdel Latif Alabbadi – Jordan: “Northern Cyprus Higher education is at World Standards”Alabbadi futher stated that the workshop held at GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus will lead for the contribution in the higher education and further emphasized that Northern Cyprus higher education system and implementation in regards are at world standards with highest level of student development.


Husain Mohamed Jafar Hasan Yusuf – Saudi Arabia: “North Cyprus is a Candidate to be a significant Center of Attraction in Higher education”Yusuf emphasizing on the importance of global structure and competition in higher education has also stated that the 3 days of workshop will positively contribute in the global higher education. Yusuf also stated that it was also a contribution for himself to acknowledge more about North Cyprus and Higher education structures. Yusuf finally underlined that North Cyprus is a significant candidate to be a center of attraction in higher education due to its international structures and common products.

Oyundelger Lkhagvasuren – Mongolia: “It very significant to acknowledge more about North Cyprus as the International Education World”Lkhagvasuren underlining the importance of the international opinion leaders of the education world to acknowledge more about the North Cyprus university system for the period of 3 days and also emphasized those significant results will evolve due to the intense awareness of the country by the international structures and global centers.


Sergey Romanchenko - Belarus:” I am Happy to be at North Cyprus.”Romanchenko emphasizing on the fruitful works undertaken during the 3 day period has also added that he is very happy for visiting North Cyprus and underlined that he contributed significantly for the comparison amongst the university system and structure of North Cyprus and his home country. Romanchenko emphasized that building an abroad campus and providing a higher education shall certainly contribute for the student development and dominate as a role model. Romanchenko finalized his words by stating that North Cyprus is a must to be visited by the world as a place of culture, nature and tourism.
