General Secretariat of Organization of International Turkish Culture (TÜRKSOY) and GAU cooperated to hold a photography exhibition at GAU Techno Park Exhibition Hall which realized with the participations by the photographs of photographers whom are members of TÜRKSOY.

The “Welcoming Breezes of North Cyprus by TÜRKSOY” photograph exhibition which is formed by many valuable  artists whom are representing their countries in the Turkish photography was opened with the ceremony by the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Ünal Üstel, the General Secretary Prof. Dr. Düsen Kaseinov of International Turkish Culture Organization (TÜRKSOY), the Founding Rector of Girne American University and Chancellor of Administrators Serhat Akpınar and wife of Chancellor of Board of Trustees Memduh Erdal- artist Sevim Erdal.



Following the speeches of GAU Rector                Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Düsen Kaseinov of International Turkish Culture Organization (TÜRKSOY), Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Ünal Üstel the “Welcoming Breezes of North Cyprus by TÜRKSOY” photograph exhibition was opened for the visit. The Director of Culture Office Nurcan Namsoy, GAU Vice-Chancellors of Administrators Olgun Üstün and Cemile Esenyel, the Chancellor of Health Culture Sports Office Türkay Akpınar, TÜRKSOY TRNC Representative Güler Fedai, The President of International Turcology Center Yerden Kazhybek and GAU academician and students had participated in the exhibition.

The photograph exhibition of “Welcoming Breezes of North Cyprus by TÜRKSOY” will open for visit between the dates of 1-8 February 2013 during the working hours.

ÜSTEL: “TÜRKSOY and GAU-a Sound Hand for the Country’s Advertisement”

Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Ünal Üstel has further explained and expressed his honor to witness the opening of the exhibition within the content of the cooperation protocol of TÜRKSOY as a significant role model for the Turkish speaking countries with GAU and thanked for those participating in the makings of the exhibition.

Minister Üstel stated that: “We do participate in all TÜRKSOY-a holder of great meaning and value in the Turkish world- activities which are held in various countries and represent our country with our own identity in a best possible way”. He also further stated that these activities create the opportunity for representing our country in the fields of economy, tourism, history, culture and art.

The General Secretary of TÜKSOY Dusen Kasainov was complimented by Minister Üstel for the fine and valuable works undertaken. Üstel also emphasized that TÜRKSOY acted like a cultural bridge which links between the Turkish speaking countries which are formed upon people of different cultures.

KASAİNOV: “We Bear the Honor for Realizing Our First Activity in GAU of Our 20 Years”

The General Secretary of TÜKSOY Dusen Kasainov has also stated that he is very pleased and honored to realize the “Welcoming Breezes of North Cyprus by TÜRKSOY”in GAU for the first activity to be held in the content of the 20th years in the establishment ofTÜRKSOY- International Turkish Culture Organization- which works for promoting the culture and art of Turkish speaking people and conveying it to future generations.

Kasaninov explaining that the exhibition was opened via the cooperation protocol signed between TÜRKSOY and the valuable education institution of TRNC GAU and also stating that the cooperation due to the protocol consists of scientific researches and education.

Kasainov thanked the Ministry of Tourism Environment and Culture, the representatives of GAU and TÜRKSOY for their contributions in the realization of the exhibition which held the prominent photography artists’ participations.

Öner: “TÜRKSOY is Accomplishing a Divine Duty Amongst the Turkish Speaking Countries”

The Rector of GAU Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner complimented TÜRKSOY for accomplishing a divine  and significant duty amongst the Turkish speaking countries.

Prof. Dr. Öner also stating that with the collapse of the Soviets Union TÜRKSOY established a sound and fine cultural, historical and arts bond amongst the Turkish states which become independent, he also emphasized that its very glad to cooperate with such a distinguished institution.
