The chess tournament held by the Girne American College , which is providing education in Girne American University (GAU) Pre-Higher Education Institutions Consortium Group of Schools, is over.

In the tournament under two categories held in the Girne American College  Girne Campus Rabia Aslan and Baran Kılıçare winners from grade 6 and Mahmut Kaan Özkan from grade 7 & 8.

The explanation made by the Girne American College about the topic states that the students are been prepared for the future via developing their English and French foreign languages to make way for their global knowledge and given the students the chance to perform in the tournaments and courses for chess and fencing inorder to develop their mental abilities to highest level.
