YOK (Higher Education Council Of Turkey) Approves New Departments Of GAU Education Faculty
YOK has approved GAU Education Primary School Teaching undergraduate program and Education graduation program in Turkish.
Dean of Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saadettin Yıldız made a statement about the subject. With accepted departments in the structure of faculty undergraduate programs, we have now 7 departments. He also emphasized that Turkish Education tgraduate program is a rarity amongst other universities of Turkey.
Primary School Teaching Department will accept 40 students
After Turkish Education Graduation Program, Doctorate Program will be opened as well.
For the first time New Turkish Language Program has started giving education in GAU
According to Dr. Yıldız, with YÖK’s approval to GAU Education Faculty’s new departments they are taking the pride of contributing to TRNC and Turkey‘s national education. Also with YOK’s approval, amongst other TRNC Universities for the first time New Turkish Language doctorate program and other academic programs are continuing their education with total 15 lecturers consisted by 6 professors, 4 associate and 5 assistant professors.
