GAU CIVIL AVIATION SERVICES STUDENTS RECEIVE MOCK-UP TRAINING

 

Girne American University (GAU) Department of Civil Aviation Cabin Services  department students completed their year of 2018-2019 Mock-up training in Pegasus Airlines Flight Training Center.

 

GAU Department of Civil Aviation Cabin Services students completed their Mock-up training of year of 2018-2019 at Pegasus Airlines central Flight Training Center, students, within their course in realistic simulators experienced emergency situations like in-flight aircraft fire, pressure discharge, emergency landing, landing gears not opening and or breaking.

Girne American University Civil Aviation Cabin Services Faculty Member Aslı Akı, stated that students within their training course at Pegasus Airlines Flight Training Center`s realistic simulations experienced emergency situations and applied training on what to do like in-flight aircraft fire, pressure discharge, methods of emergency sea or ground landings. Akı also stated the the information given in the curriculum was put into practice such as fast evacuation methods following an emergency landing at land or sea with realistic scenario of rescue of potentially endangered passangers in an event of cabin fire.

 

Aslı Akı has said; `Alongside applied training  in the Mock-up, we ensured the knowledge received with 2 years of in-class information given to potential cabin crews of Airbus A320 family as GAU was permanent. The training of opening and closing of doors was practically done by each and every student. We extend our thanks to GAU and Pegasus Airlines for their contribution to education.
