The applications for the 12th High School Short Movie Contest, which takes place to encourage high school students across The Republic of Turkey and TRNC to cinema and reward their success in this field, has begun.

The GAU High School Short Movie Contest which had created a professional and serious platform for young people to speak about their problems, pleasures, hopes, dreams, their plans and worries about the future, shortly to tell their own worlds with the common language of cinema, will take place for the 12th time this year.

The candidates from TRNC and Turkey can apply to the contest, which is open to all high school students,with their fiction movies shorter than 10 minutes.  The movies which determined in accordance with the terms, will be held to public voting and a jury which will be chosenby the professionals of the sector, and the winners will be announced in the award ceremony which will be held in April.

The reward for the first place: 1-year full scholarship in English prep school in GAU Moldova American University campus and 3000 TRY.

For the second place: 1-year full scholarship English in prep school in GAU Moldova American University campus and 2000 TRY.

And for the third place: 1-year full scholarship in English prep school in GAU Moldova American University campus and 1500 TRY.

Deadline is 15 April 2018!

Deadline is 15 April 2018 to apply. The online application form and your movie must be uploaded to http://yarismalar.gau.edu.tr online before 15 April 2018. Then, a public voting will be held through the website. %30 of the voting will be public voting and the rest %70 will be jury voting.
