Founding Rector of Girne American University (GAU) and Chancellor of Board of Administrators Serhat Akpınar, published a celebration message on the occasion of the 33rd Anniversary of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and ‘15th November Republic Day’.

GAU Chairmanship Office stated that the message, which Akpınar published on behalf of himself, GAU, its ‘International Campuses’, GAU Group of Schools and its employees, included the followings: “I celebrate this significant day in which we declared our independence and the foundation of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with great sacrifices 33 years ago and wish a peaceful world for whole humanity.”
