Prime Minister Kalyoncu Accepts The Committee Formed in TRNC for “International Collabration and Investment ...

Before the works of “International Collaboration and Investment Summit”, Girne American University (GAU) Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators and who is also a member of Board of International Diplomats Association, Serhat Akpınar, and the committee performed a visit to Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu.

 

In company with Akpınar, GAU CEO and Vice Chancellor of Board of Administrators Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi, Vice Chairman and Turkey Head of International Diplomats Association Ferhat Bozcelik, International Diplomats Association Turkey Member of Board Uguz Ozgoker, Member of Board and EU Consultant Musa Karademir and Europe Club of ISAD Europe Head Zbingniew Roch have attended to the visitation.

 

Akpınar, who gave a speech in the visitation, referred that they are planning an economy summit with International Diplomats Association, GAU and Europe Club of ISAD and the process will begin from October. It was stated that in the peace process of Cyprus, which gained momentum, investments from UN and foreign countries will make contributions to the economy.

 

Vice Chairman and Turkey Head of International Diplomats Association Ferhat Bozcelik recorded that the previous summit in Istanbul was successful and in the peace process of Cyprus, they would like to give priority to economy, investment and energy issues. Stating that along with the investors from Europe, they also want to include Greek investors to the summit, Bozcelik underlined that with the support of Prime Ministry, the summit can be more successful.

 

In his speech, Prime Minister Omer Kalyoncu specified that the summit is very important and the participation from other countries has a great importance for TRNC. Kalyoncu also indicated that they are very glad for having the patronage of the summit and emphasized that they will put support behind the summit.
