Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadrı remarked that “from culture to culture and profession to profession, ethic is stable and indivisible”

New article of Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Architecture and Design and Fine Arts Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri in Architecture Ethic was published in scientific indexed Thomson Reuters Architecture Journal.

In the article which was titled as “Architecture and Ethic: Can there be a Professional Ethic?” ,many criticisms were voiced about the professional ethic.

Sadri who mentioned about the impossibility of the development of Professional ethic, emphasized that “from culture to culture and profession to profession, ethic is stable and indivisible”

Ethical values in architecture

In his article, Dr. Sadri underlined that it is possible to identify ethical values and norms in architecture and included the matters of ethical documents from Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Architecture Council of Europe (ACE), Union of International Associations (UIA) and American Institute of Architects (AIA).

The article was published in Turkish with an English indicative abstract in June issue of METU Architecture Journal which is scanned by one of the most important scientific index, Thomson Reuters.
