The 71st (2012) meeting of the EURHODIP which is one of the important organizations conducting the world tourism education will be held at the GAU, hosted by the Girne American University.

The EURHODIP held a press conference at the Cratos Premium Otel and gave valuable information about the organization and the meeting to be held.
VEHBİ : “The Meeting Will Make a Significant Contribution to the Tourism of the Country”

In his short speech delivered at the meeting, Asım Vehbi the Vice-Chancellor of the Girne American University, pointed out that the 2012 meeting of the EURHODIP, the important organization which conducts the wold tourism, would be held in the TRNC and said that they were pleased to host the meeting to be held the first time on this Island.

Giving information about the mission and activities of the EURHODIP, Asım Vehbi said that the GAU had a close cooperation with the organization.

Dr. Cees Van Der Klip, the president of the EURHODIP, saying that they were pleased to have relaized the meeting in the TRNC, pointed out that the EURHODIP with its 350 member in 40 countries, was an organization which by sharing information and experience with universities and schools that provide education to tourism and accommodation in the world and Europe, helped the sector gain professional work power.

Klip, saying that this non-political organization would not be indifferent to programmes and schools which provide tourism and accommodation education, stressed that people working in this sector in the beautiful North Cyprus with high tourism potentials, should focus on the future.
