Our Goals And Objectives

GAUSEM was established in February 2006 and is situated within Girne American University. GAUSEM (LIFELONG LEARNING CENTER) was formerly called the Community Education Center. Its name changed in February, 2006.

GAUSEM has been successful over the years and currently its administrative board of directors carries out their duties effectively towards ensuring it\s continuous growth and its activities. The President of GAUSEM Board is Dr. Mustafa Ertanin. The board of directors are Assoc.Prof Dr. Hasan Koksal, Asst.Prof.Dr. Beran Necat, Ferdiye Ersoy (Director of the English Foundation School and the Vocational School) and Senior Lecturer Mehmet Ali Ekemen.

GAU Dean of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty Assist. Prof Dr. Hussein Sadri has stated that a new era for Architecture education has commenced with the protocol signed in GAU Rectorate Office.

The Museum to be opened under Freedom Complex which is yet under construction it has been announced by GAU that the complex will commence to serve in 2013 fall semester.
