What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is an external quality control process confirming our established standards of excellence in education. Accreditation assures our students that they are receiving a high standard of education, transferability of education, and of eligibility for admission to graduate schools around the world.

We have high expectations of ourselves and our students and endeavour to raise our standards of education through the use of such external accrediting bodies. To measure how well we achieve those standards we undertake a range of assessment activities throughout  the year, including continuous, confidential questionnaires. These assessments inform us on ways to continuously improve our curriculum and teaching methods. It is our goal that graduating students master the skills and knowledge of their area of studies and become contributing members of their communities after graduating from  Girne American University.

          Cyprus and The Council of Higher Education (YOK) of Turkey.

          Girne American University –North Cyprus has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International

          Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas. The business programs in the following degrees are

          accredited by the IACBE:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Banking and Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Management and International Business Management.
• Master of Science (MSc) in Economics
