GAU Makes An İmportant İnvestment İn Karpaz

GAU PUTS ITS PROJECT INTO PRACTICE TO DEVELOP AND POPULARİZE BEEKEEPİNG

Girne American University Karpaz Campus Beekeeping AR-GE Centre has put its ‘‘Developing and Popularizing Beekeeping’’ project into practice.

The project initiated in Dipkarpaz will provide education in beekeeping and honey manufacturing  to the local community, and will distribute bee hives aiming to develop and support honey manufacturing.  

 “Scientific Research will be Carried Out to Preserve and Protect Cyprus Bees’’

It was announced that the GAU Karpaz Campus Beekeeping AR-GE Centre will carry out scientific research to preserve and protect Cyprus bees and will also put into practice social responsibility projects in the area.

Locals who would like to attend the workshops can apply to the Dipkarpaz Municipality and Dipkarpaz GAU Karpaz Campus Public Relations and Project Office until Friday the 17th of August 2012.

It was emphasized that at the end of the training, bee hives will be distributed for free, and equipment, technical support as well as guidance will also be provided to the local community, aiming to support honey manufacturing.
