Short Term Pilot Training Starts At GAU For The First Time İn TRNC

Girne American University Life Long Learning centre is breaking new grounds with its short term pilot training.
In addition to the short term pilot training, the Girne American University will provide aviation education in 15 different branches. The internationally recognized Aviatoin Certification and Education programs will be provided by GAU for the first time in TRNC.

GAU has announced that the Aviation Certification and Education Programs will be provided with the cooperation of GAUSEM and the Aviation Institute. Certification and Education Programs will consist of PPL/AFA Coordinated Amateur Pilot Certification, CPL/AFA Coordinated Commercial Pilot Certification, ATPL/AFA Coordinated Air Transport Pilot License, Dispatching, Flight Attendance, Aviation Law, Airport Management, Airline Business, Aviation English, Aviation Meteorology, Flight Crew Resource Management, Aviation Management, Human Factor and Management In Aviation, Aviation Safety and Security, Total Quality Management in Aviation and Aviation Board and Rules.

It was announced that in addition to being accredited by YÖK and YÖDAK, the Aviation Institute is also a member of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) and International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) accreditations, Europe Union’s and World’s leading Education Units such as; International Association of Universities (IAU) , Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), European Council of International Schools (ECIS), Erasmus Student Network (ESN), EURHODIP, International Federation for Business Education (IFBE), International Award Association (IAA), and European Association for International Education. TRNC nationals’ applications to the Aviation Institute have started.
A professional mock-up flight simulator of world standards will be available for students of GAU Aviation Academy. GAU Aviation Administration Program is certified by YÖK as “Civil Aviation Transmission Management” which will have a world-wide recognition.
