New Library and Congress Centre

Girne American University will be opening a library and congress centre in the GAU Canterbury Campus. A statement by GAU said that the library, Cylibrary, Congress and Seminar Halls will also benefit the cultural and scientific life of Canterbury. The library will also include a multipurpose hall, Student Union and rest areas for students.

The statement also said that GAU Canterbury, has been accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Board (YOK), Higher Education Control Accreditation Establishment (YODAK) and the British Accreditation Council (BAC). In the statement it was also underlined that GAU is officially recognised by the UK NARIC.
