GAU is to host the International Higher Education Workshop (IHEW) due to be attended by over 100 Rectors and scientists from over 50 universities from the 5 continents.
The event will be at the GAU Karmi Campus from Wednesday 7 April to Sunday 11 April when the guest rectors and scientists will present their work to the audience.
Countries represented will be Tanzania, Ethiopia, the Republic of South Africa, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Yemen, Senegal, Mauritania, the United Arab Emirates, Mozambique, Egypt, Croatia, Kosovo, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Bella Russia and Turkey.
To be held just before the opening of the GAU Singapore Campus the IHEW is where higher education will be analysed in all aspects through scientific research and presentations that will guide the future of education to an all new level.
Turkish and Turkish Cypriot high level government executives will attend the workshop along with YÖK Chairman Prof. Dr Yusuf Ziya Özcan, YÖDAK Chairman Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak. The IHEW will achieve considerable support for the country and global higher education and is expected to change and reshape the current education system.
